Chest Waders

The materials of Waders/ chest waders can be divided into three materials; NEOPRENE, waterproof and breathable fabric, and PVC.

Waders that made of waterproof and breathable fabricate one of exquisite waders, mainly sold to the United States and Europe, they are comfortable, light, and waterproof, more importantly, and it is more breathable than PVC, but the cost is high.

The raw material of NEOPRENE is processed through foaming, cutting, and sealing, and the thickness of NEOPRENE waders is 3.5 MM to 5MM, which is quality and comfortable. NEOPRENE uses natural rubber with characteristics that are eco-friendly, comfortable, soft, and flexible, which is suitable for cold season and low-temperature environment. However, the abradability of NEOPRENE is poor, thus it should be prevented from sharp objects upon using.

PVC waders have been developed rapidly in recent years with its characteristics of waterproof, various patterns, and low cost. However, the plasticizer content of PVC is above standards, which will stunt the growth of human body. Further, PVC is a material that doesn’t breathe, it hardens in winter and leads to slippery, and it becomes soft, debonding, and smelly when wearing in summer.
